learnedax, I apologize for doubting you. There really is a zodiac sign called
Ophiuchus (although if you'd called it Aesclepius, I probably would have doubted you less!) No
Cetus, however, unless you're going to include a number of additional constellations.
Sadly, I was not born under the sign of Ophiuchus. (Not like
fairestyarrow, that lucky girl...) I find it quite funny, though, that solar creep since Babylonian times means that by astrological reckoning, I'm a Gemini, but by astronomical reckoning, I'm a Taurus. That seems to throw a wrench in the concept of the predictive quality of one's sign.
EDIT: To be fair, I must concede that there is one star that does influence my destiny. Without the sun, I would be cold, hungry, and shortly thereafter, dead.
