Construction update

Here's a picture we were able to sneak through the back door after the floor was finished (but had just been sanded and could not be walked on):


After that picture was taken, they stained the floor Gunstock Brown, but then they covered it up to protect it during the next phase of construction, so we still haven't seen what it looks like.  I hope we picked a good color!  :)

Some other exciting things that have happened recently: 
Cabinets and appliances are installed!


Walls are primed, and the trim is starting to go in!


And bathroom tile proceeds apace!


We're looking at major construction being completed within the next week or two, with the project being fully completed (painted, countertops installed, all the finishing details done) hopefully by the end of the month.  Woo hoo!!!!

Looking good! I *love* stainless appliances. As for the floor, well... have you ever seen a gunstock that wasn't attractive?
